Alresford RFC boasts a growing membership in excess of 250, and with our continuing success in maintaining 2 senios mens teams, a womens team, and a highliy succesful minis section, that can provide your business with the opportuity to build and increase brand loyalty with the Hampshire area.

Facilities

Alresford RFC has 2 fully maintianed pitches, and the use of a large clubhouse, in which is contained a function room and a bar area, all within walking distance of Alresford itself.

Aspirations

The club is kniown as 'Hampshire's Friendliest Rugby Club' and this is something we are very proud of. We are increasing our membership and crowd attendances on a season by season basis, and believe that this can be used by our sponsors to both provide us with financial support, but also to build them into the fabric of the club on a strategic level, allowing them to benefit from our success on the pitch, our expanding audience, and our community involvement.

History

Alresford Rugby Football club was founded in 1991, and is based at The Arlebury, a community sporting hub situated in the heart of Alresford. a vibrant, expanding town in  the centre of Hampshire.

The mens First XV currently play in the Hampshire Premiership division, having consolidated our position over the past few seasons. We also run a Second XV team, who currently play in Hampshire Division 3.

We run a very successful Minis set up, bringing over 150 children from all ages together on a Saturday morning, to introduce them to the game of rugby, and hopefully instil in them the core beliefs and values of our sport.

A womens XV has been set up from the start of the season, and will no doubt form an integral part of the club as the seasons progess.

The club recently entered a partnership with the University of Winchester Men's rugby team, which we hope continues to grow and prosper.
